What you need before you start

All you need is a domain name you already own. Domain names are purchased from a registrar, a company that registers domain names, such as OVH, Gandi or IONOS. You remain the owner of your domain name with the registrar you chose.

You will also need to be able to log in to your account at that registrar, to add the settings Flopix gives you. No technical knowledge is needed: you simply copy what is shown.

In your customer account, go to your site's "Advanced options" section.

Enter your domain name

Type in your address, for example my-business.com. Flopix then shows you the settings to add.

Add the settings at your registrar

Wait while it is verified

Once verification is complete, your site is available at your domain name, over HTTPS.
