Sell Online: Stripe Account, Payment Page and Terms of Sale
Published on Oct 14, 2026
One page for everything about selling
As soon as the Online payment option is enabled, an Online payment page appears in your menu, under My website. It has four tabs: your Stripe account, your product, your payment page and your terms and conditions of sale. Nothing is published on your website until you click Save.1. Connect your Stripe account
- In the Stripe account tab, click Connect my Stripe, then log in to Stripe (or create your account).
- Back on Flopix, the status of your account is shown. The Check account status button tells you whether Stripe still needs information or is reviewing your account.
- The money from your sales goes straight to your Stripe account: Flopix takes no commission.
2. Describe your product
- Enter the name, description, price and, if you like, a photo.
- Choose one-time payment or monthly subscription, your VAT regime and the type of product (delivered goods, digital content or service).
- The Show the product on my website switch removes it from your website without deleting anything.
3. Set up your payment page
- The button text (for example "Book my spot"), the thank-you message shown after payment and the contact email displayed to your customers.
- The address requested at checkout (none, billing or shipping) and, if needed, the phone number.
- The I accept the terms and conditions of sale box is always there: customers must tick it before paying. For digital content, a second box records their waiver of the right of withdrawal.
- A preview shows the payment block as it will appear on your website.
4. Write your terms of sale
- Start from a template: a structured text is filled in with your legal notice and your product. Complete the passages in brackets.
- Write with AI: answer a few questions (what you sell, delivery, time frames, returns), or ask "make it clearer", "add a clause about...". The suggestion appears alongside: put it in the editor if you are happy with it.
- Read it over, then click Save my terms: they go live on your website's /cgv page, with a link in the payment block and in the footer.
- If your website has an English version, an optional EN tab holds your terms in English. Without it, the French version is translated automatically.
Good to know
- The template and the assistant are for guidance only: have your terms checked by a legal professional if in doubt. You remain responsible for your terms of sale.
- Until you write your terms, basic terms remain displayed, and an alert reminds you.
- You can track your orders on the Orders page in your menu.
